Role Description

1. This is a full-time on-site role located in Nuneaton for a CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder. The person will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinding equipment.
2. Performs first piece, in-process inspection on work produced, and enters offset adjustments to machine controls to correct out-of-tolerance dimensions.
3. Discusses program issues with supervisor or programmer to resolve any issues should they occur.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Proficient in the use of manual measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges

• 1-3 years experience with CNC grinding equipment.

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Good comprehension and understanding of mathematics and the ability to work between metric and imperial units of measurement.

• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

• Experience with Walter CNC controls is essential.

• Experience in the cutting tool industry is a plus.

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
